La Paix, nom de Dieu !
In November 2003, an inter-religious group of 200 French Christians, Jews and Muslims took a journey to the land where their brothers war against one another. A land marked by fire and blood, but a promised land and holy land. They visited the very place of conflict, in Israel and Palestine, to Jerusalem and Ramallah. For peace, for God’s sake. Five very intense days in which these men and woman, accompanied by a rabbi, a Muslim theologian, a bishop and a pastor, were received by Yasser Arafat at al-Mouquata and engaged in a dialogue with Israeli victims of terrorist attacks. From the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem to the Palestinian refugee camps at Kalandia at the height of the Intifada, they crossed the borders. To meet the Other but also, even more importantly, to meet themselves.
