La Musique en libertéMusic in the Wild
A portrait of David L. Hoyt, musician and conductor, who describes himself as a “slave of music". Hoyt is the permanent conductor of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and conducts many concerts for young people. His colleagues say he represents the future of symphonic orchestras in Canada, thanks to his vision and efforts to perform in small communities of western and northern Canada. The film also presents two world-rank musicians, pianist Anton Kuerti and violinist Erika Raum, in concert in an unusual setting: the train station at Jasper.
