Engel, a nine-year-old girl, and her seven-year-old brother, Broer, play on a garbage dump, acting out their parent’s divorce. Engel plays their mother, Broer their father. Their play reveals that the father has left the mother, because she has found out about his affair. Out of revenge, their mother brings all of the father’s things to the dump. Engel and Broer feel sorry for their father, as he now has to live without his television set, computer, etc. They go back to the dump to retrieve his things and return it to him. But Broer finds a gun, which isn’t their father’s.
