She tracked down Dagny Loe, an extraordinary old woman living in a small cottage in Berlevåg, Norway. on the Arctic Ocean. When World War II started, she was a fisherman’s wife with eight children. Dagny and her husband took part in resistance activities against the Germans. Both were arrested. He was sentenced to death. She was sentenced to 15 years in a German prison.
