From Recife to Salgueiro lies an invisible road. A road of shadows on steel rails. A road that crosses ghost towns, borders the destinies, and traverses the reminiscences and realities of characters that, today, replaced the train that stopped running. This journey tries to retrace, through testimonials and poetic images, the voyage of that train. Lives that became small and loose pieces of that railroad line. Former locomotive engineers, stationmasters, passengers and real characters weave a narrative interspersed by the memories and the longing of the train. We visited almost thirty-two cities along that railroad line that replaces the former railroad journey, defacing a life built around the villages and cities that the train line and stops made possible.
