Dialogo de sordos
Worried about the critical situation in their homeland, two young Venezuelan women living in France return to Caracas. There they find their 28-year-old cousin, Gabby, who is anti-Chavez, living with her mostly pro-Chavez family. There are constant arguments which reflect the divisions in modern-day Venezuela. Each member of the family is affected by the crisis. In every bedroom, the television is always on, tuned into a channel of the same political leanings as its occupant. Contradictory around-the-clock news invades the house and feeds the arguments. Every aspect of daily life becomes political and a source of division until the day Gabby announces she is pregnant. Can the upcoming birth of this child pacify and bring this torn family together again?
