Di Ritorno dall' InfernoTo Hell and Back
April 1997 – Puerto Barrios, Guatemala: 13 kg of cocaine are found in a container of ornamental plants bound for Germany. Three months later, the former director of a Nestlé plant in Antigua, Guatemala, Andreas Hänggi, is arrested and charged with drug trafficking with his son. This is the beginning of an odyssey within the prisons of Guatemala that Hänggi compares to Kafka’s "The Trial”. He was released from prison 18 months later, after having been found not guilty in an appeal judgement. His son was released in 2003. Now they are living with the rest of the family in Tandil, Argentina. What really did happen with the trial and their detention, their relations with Nestlé, the relationship between father and son, and their contacts in Switzerland… up to the final joyous conclusion?
