D-Day in Colour

To mark the 60th anniversary of D-Day in June 2004 this documentary tells the entire, compelling story of the Allied invasion of Europe exclusively in colour. Following previous collaborations The Second World War in Colour, Britain at War in Colour and The British Empire in Colour, this film makes captivating use of original colour film to bring the viewer closer to this historic event than ever before. It takes an in-depth look at the events and experiences of D-Day, focusing on the personal stories of those involved in combat.
