Azalaï
In northern Mali, on the outskirts of the great Sahara, live a nomad nation. They are the guardians of Islam. An elder watches his children set off for the great caravan.... Azalai. Through this adventure, he describes how the Kuntas have lived since the coming of their prophet. In 40 days, M’Barak, Bouillrak and 50 camels will trek some 900 miles to bring back six tons of salt from the Taoudenni mines, at the Algerian border. In Imilach’, the old people are concerned about their future because the rains are getting rarer and rarer.
