Amine
Six years after the breakdown of a film shoot in Africa, a man returns to this experience. He describes this journey in a blend of fact, fiction and subjective reality: the fact of a group of four young Frenchman and a Senegalese at odds with Africa and the harsh material and psychological conditions of a film shoot; the fiction of a screenplay which changes during shooting and which takes them to Mauritania; the subjective reality of rites of passage for each of them. There is also the fact of a family without news of their son who has gone off in search of adventure; the fiction of a white man tormented by the image of a woman, the subjective reality of a romance between the narrator and the actor; and the reality of a film that emerges with time.
