Caroline is 18, a student, and in love. Her grandmother and great-grandmother share an apartment right near her university. When her grandmother has to take a week-long trip to sell the family home in the south of France, she entrusts Caroline with looking after her invalid great-grandmother. Caroline accepts this, her first real responsibility, without enthusiasm: she has other things on her mind, but she carries her duties conscientiously. The daily schedule is precise: Agathe, the nurse, comes by twice a day, mornings and evenings. Caroline looks after the meals. One week: two lives come into contact and collide, maybe a bit too quickly.
