The Cunning Little Vixen

Prihody Lisky Bystrouky

Originally published as a comic strip, Rudolf Tehosnidek’s novel, "Prihody Lisky Bystrouky", was the inspiration for Leos Janácek’s seventh opera, premiered in Brno in November 1924. Today, the story of the cunning little vixen has become an animated film with the score recorded by the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester and the singers of the European Opera Centre, a tale of love, death and resurrection, which speaks to all audiences.
