The Blanket Area
A woman who has been the victim of domestic violence witnesses her daughter being beaten by her classmate. Angered, she kidnaps the boy and locks him up in her house. Although the boy finally escapes the savage violence of the mother and daughter, he nevertheless heads back to their place again. The Blanket Area is a horror film with violent images. However, the film argues, the horror lie within ourselves, who have become accustomed to violence and who unknowingly commit it.
