Stéphane Braunschweig has run the National Theater of Strasbourg since July 1, 2000. He also produces plays and teaches the students of the TNS drama school. During the year 2000, the director followed Stéphane Braunschweig in his various activities, from the Opera du Rhin, where he started producing Strauss’s " Elektra " in January, to the first production of the play " La famille Schroffenstein " presented in October at the TNS. Teaching sessions at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art Dramatique of the TNS are also included. This film invites us to discover the wings of a theater, to witness the collective and individual effort that leads to a show.
