Rumeur etc.
The daily lot of an Algerian: Bashir, a young man of 25, who lives in a popular quarter of Sidi-Bel-Abbès. Every morning, Bashir is on the lookout for the postman. But there’s still no response to his request for a French visa. He is bored, doesn’ know what to do with himself. But a rumor puts an end to his boredom and has to do with a change in the calendar week: The Saturday-Sunday weekend, the norm for the Christian West, is to replace the Muslim norm of Thursday-Friday.
