Prime Suspect VI

After seven years, Helen Mirren is back as Detective Superintendent Jane Tennison. Time has not softened her and her boss Chief Superintendent Larry Hall has begun to wonder whether it might be a good time for her to retire. Tennison has other ideas and when the discovery of a dead woman attracts big headlines, she steps in and take personal charge of the investigation. The murder squad faces a wall of silence and suspicion as they try to investigate the murder of the dead woman, who is eventually identified as Samira Blekic, an illegal immigrant from Bosnia. Tennison believes that the key to solving her murder lies in the past and she single-mindedly pursues that belief. Proving that her prime suspect is the murderer involves Tennison in the most difficult and dangerous investigation of her career.
