For the past two decades, dancer and choreographer Ana Clara Guerra Marques has been concerned with contemporary dance in her country, Angola. By new interpretations of its traditional aspects, and through the use of a new form of language and a different esthetic, she has been trying to develop it. This film deals with the recent history of Angola and its influence on the artist’s pedagogical and artistic work.
