Loïc Le Ribault : mandat d'arrêt contre un chercheur
Loic Le Ribault overhauled French police sciences in the 80s, becoming at that time an expert with a high media profile. But his success began to be an obstacle. In 1982, he met Norbert Duffaut, a chemical engineer at the University of Bordeaux. Duffault had devised a organic silicon-based product with potentially therapeutic properties. Together, they experimented with this product and tried to interest the medical world. In vain. In the early 90s, Le Ribault’s analytical laboratory went bankrupt. He decided to devote his energies to Organic Silicon. After serving a prison term for illegal practice of medicine and pharmaceuticals, he went into exile in Ireland where he began to make and diffuse organic silicon under the name G5.
