Les Escadrons de la mort - L'École française

Death Squadrons - The French School

France and its collusion with Latin American dictatorships. After the battle of Algiers, France and its army exported its anti-subversion methods to Latin America and the United States in the 60s. After more than a year of inquiry in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, the United States and France, Marie-Monique Robin, sometimes using a concealed camera, collected exclusive testimonies from the main players. From General Aussaresses to the former Minister of the Armies, Pierre Messmer, not to mention General Reynaldo Bigone (head of the Argentine junta from 1982 to 1984), General Albano Harguidéguy (Minister of Interior to Argentina’s General Videla), General Manuel Contreras (head of the DINA, Pinochet’s secret police), and generals John Johns and Carl Bernard (former students of General Aussaresses at Fort Bragg), this investigation reveals the hidden reality of the land of the Rights of Man.
