Le "Tigneux"
Deux Rhys, a village in the Ardennes: here Albert Mercier, his wife and daughter run a small farm with a hundred heads of cattle. For some years now, Albert’s business hasn’t been going too well. Especially since his accident in 1983. But no one knew what really was going on at the farm. But Deux Rhys became famous overnight, making headlines and the evening news. All because of a charge of animal abuse. Albert could hardly feed them properly. But when the ASPCA turned up, followed by the press, they discovered the conditions in which the family lived: a run-down farm, misery. Albert and his family had to be helped. A movement of solidarity formed.
