We say that time is out of joint, that the polar ice cap is melting, that the level of the oceans is rising... What is the truth? Did you know that Greenland is getting colder, than certain glaciers not only are not melting but spreading? Sophie Lepault destroys some received notions. The film opens with the story of the Dane Bjorn Lomborg. This former member of Greenpeace published an explosive book in 2001: “The Skeptical Ecologist,” in which he denies the seriousness of global warming. At first accused on scientific dishonesty, Lomborg was finally rehabilitated. He showed the way for an entire movement of “skeptics.” Their message is clear: before accusing man and his carbonic gas emissions, we must distinguish between natural warming and the natural variations in climate.
