La Vie est si courte

Life is so Short

A walker traveled the world for seven years, studying the behavior of his peers in the face of the events they undergo and which make up the history of their country. He thought he had seen and heard it all when, at the end of his wanderings, he was troubled by the vision of a woman who was laughing and crying at the window of a house called Top House. The walker was not there by chance - he was concluding his journey in the region of Mont Saint Michel, which he had visited as a child with his Italian mother shortly before she died. She confessed to him at the time that she had once met his father there, but she had not wished to impose upon him a destiny he had not chosen. She called this unknown father Francesco, and Angelo longed to meet him at last for his peace of mind.
