L'Ordre vert
Delphine is a young actress who has developed a passion for 17th century France. She attends a lecture on Le Nôtre, whom she only knows because of Versailles and the Tuileries. She speaks to the lecturer who suggests she read a play he has written about the royal gardener. Delphine does so and decides to stage the play. Her father, who runs a small Paris theater, tries to talk her out of it. But Delphine is plucky and stubborn. She sees her project through with the help of her father's friend, who has different ideas about the gardener. This leads to a conflict that is one of the film's themes. Opening night is near. Delphine holds one last dress rehearsal. Her father is in the theater. He can't believe his eyes...
