In the 30s, Bandar Anzali was the regular vacation resort of Tehran elite. A port city on the Caspian, it also acted as the access point for modernity into the country. Today, after 20 years of Islamic Republic rule, all the infrastructures are rotting away. The port installations have been abandoned, the "belle époque" facades are crumbling, economic activity is virtually non-existent and the young people are idle. This is the town where a band of high-spirited youths, Reza, Hootan, and Mohammad, try to organize the Flying Misters, the first rock concert.
