Gala
Elena Dimitrievna Daikonova - Gala for short - was one of the most loved and hated women of the 20th century. First married to Paul Eluard, a friend of Max Ernst and Luis Buñuel, she later became the wife and muse of Salvador Dalí. The film documents cultural and social evolutions in Europe as well as the artists, thinkers, and avant-garde pioneers who were associated in one way or another with Gala, an enigmatic woman who left her mark on her times.
