For four weeks, in four Polish prisons, the film brought together inmates and prison personnel, two worlds that coexist but have nothing in common. Wardens, social workers, guards and inmates agreed to play the game and together imagine what an ideal prison would be like. Their sometimes ironic views, both about prison life and themselves, sets the tone of this fiction film, in which they are co-authors and actors. In an apparently comic mode, they raise important questions about detention.
