Dissonances
Nathanael is driving on the highway. His two daughters, six-year-old Julie and nine-year-old Margo, are playing quietly on the back seat. A van pulls up alongside them. One of the passengers fires at gun at them. Margo screams. Julie isn't moving. Her father calls her, but Julie is dead. In a few seconds, tragedy, the absurd, the inconceivable have struck. In a series of sequences, each of the main players speaks out. To try and answer these terrible questions: what should have been done before, during and after such a calamity?
