Choice
Gu Shi and Yang Yan have been living together for more than two years. Now they are wondering whether to marry or not. Like many other young Chinese city people born in the 1970's, Gu Shi is afraid of marriage. However, year after year, Yang Yan continues to worry about her biological clock ticking away. Faced with this dilemma, the lovers make a final decision about their relationship up in the snow-capped mountains. This film documents the views of city youth on questions of marriage, work and love in a world where traditional cultural is confronted with modern life.
