A year after being laid off from the factory job, Jeong Bae now drives a cab, working nights and sleeping during the day. He's not on duty today because the taxi union is on strike. Thinking that his daughter Hye Ahn wants to play the piano, he enrolls her in an academy. Comforting himself with the thought that he has finally did something good for his daughter, he feels less regretful about not having joined the union's demonstration. Then he gets a phone call: his former co-worker has been released from prison as part of a general amnesty. With painful memories of his old job there, he sets off for Bupyeong…
