Apprentis directeurs de prison
In 2004, no less than 40 new prisons will be opened in France. Who are the men and women who will direct them especially, how does one become a prison warden ? The 24-month training is carried out by the ENAP (the National School of Penitentiary Administration) and begins with an internship as a basic guard. From prisoner in-take to incarceration relations, we will follow three students on this singular initiatory path: Roxanne, 25, after a stint at university, discovers security requirements and uniformed staff. Caroline, 26, at the end of her training, follows a final internship as assistant director to her tutor, the prison warden. Laurence, 33, formerly a rehabilitation counselor, currently finds it difficult to make herself heard.
