Adieu l'Armailli

Farewell my Mountain

Switzerland. After 54 years of mountain farming, Robert Gillet is probably living his last saison on his mountain pasture. Victim of speculation, the old mountain cheese-maker has no more land nor cattle to transmit to his son Benoît. After more than a year of filming the Guillet family, Hugues de Wurstemberger and Didier Schmutz propose a reflection on the future of the craftsmen of the Swiss mountain pastures. Beyond the tragic destiny of the mountain cheese-maker and his family, is there still a future for the mountain and hill farming?
