Yönden
Nine years after Molom, Conte de Mongolie, and at a critical moment in her life, director Marie Jaouol de Poncheville, returned to Mongolia in search of lost happiness and to find Yönden, the eight-year-old nomad who had acted in her film. Yönden, now 17, has a family. He is in charge of the cattle and is also the guide for a medical caravan which each year crosses Mongolian territory to provide the nomads with health care. During this expedition, Yönden finds his new love... Shot in the splendors of an untouched natural environment, but also in an extreme climate, this film is an ode to fidelity to those we love or have loved.
