Voyages en pays lointains
For the past four years, Joël Jouanneau has been staging the moving texts of Jean-Luc Lagarce, which deal with the homecoming of someone who has announced his coming death. He explores his intense relationship with this work, using the diary he kept during rehearsals of "Pays lointain/Traversée" with the young actors of the Paris Conservatory and scenes from "Juste la fin du monde." The joy in giving voices to these texts, which seem more essential each day, echoes through the film. A journey into theatre and words.
