Voyage d'Automne
In the ideological war tearing Occupied France apart, the cultural heritage, the literary institutions and writers were a major concern of the occupiers as potential instruments of legitimization, even propaganda. In October 1941, seven French writers were invited by Dr. Goebbels to discover the Reich: Marcel Jouhandeau, Jacques Chardonne, Ramon Fernandez, Robert Brasillach, Pierre Drieu la Rochelle, Abel Bonnard and André Fraigneau: anti-communist and anti-Semitic feelings, fascination, careerism, collaboration? A film about literature under occupation.
