Shot between Christmas 2001 and Easter 2002 in the traditional peasant communities of Transylvania, this film, conceived as a "white suite" in three movements – about the symbols of snow, milk and flour – illustrates the cycle of birth, death and resurrection of sacred time and nature. It shows how the alchemical transformations of these three elements, symbols of extreme purity, are extended in a series of social, artistic and spiritual experiences in this historic region of Romania.
