Ricco
Swiss artist Erich (Ricco) Wassmer (1915-72) grew up in his parents' castle in Bremgarten in the canton of Bern, a dream world for him, because he could meet artists and writers such as Herman Hesse. During this time his works is for the most part on literary topics. In 1963 Ricco was arrested; the French police had found photos of naked young men, a basis for the artist's works. Following his imprisonment, Ricco returned to the canton of Waadt to live in a manor in the village of Ropraz, where he died of illness in 1972. Director Mike Wildbolz is born in 1947 in Philadelphia. Independant documentary filmmaker, he collaborated with the Swiss television TSI. He died on January, 10th 2002.
