Pour tout l'or du monde
A 2000 year-old curse hangs over a village in the Carpathian Mountains. There is gold under Rosia Montana… hundreds of tons of gold. Since Greek and Roman times, the inhabitants, mostly poor proud farmers, have resisted the greedy legions. But today they must go and leave everything behind them, as their village risks being wiped off the map. A Canadian firm has gained possession of the gold deposits and is prepared to build the biggest open cast mine in Europe. The cyanide process will be used to extract the gold, just as in Baia Mare. Memories of the disaster are fresh in everyone's minds. The inhabitants want to keep their lands and their futures, but building has started in Rosia Montana, and some people have already start to leave.
