Paysan et rebelle, un portrait de Bernard Lambert
A portrait of Bernard Lambert, farmer, parliamentarian at age 27, then legendary figure of the farmers' protests in western France in the 70s, founder of the "Paysans travailleurs" movement and spiritual father to José Bové. This film goes back to the roots of today's farm protests and charts the growth of agriculture in France. It's also a group portrait, because Bernard Lambert's story is told by family and comrades-in-arms, his wife Marie-Paule, his friends at the Young Christian Farmers' Association, etc. We also hear personalities such as Henri Leclerc, Michel Rocard and José Bové, who all speak of themselves by speaking about him and form a choral narrative.
