Opération luneDark Side of the Moon
During an interview with Stanley Kubrick's widow an extraordinary story came to light: Kubrick and other Hollywood producers contributed to the popular success of the US space program by turning it into a visual entertainment. This gave us an idea and we wondered: How far will anyone go for the power of images? We looked for an answer in this documentary, a subtle blend of facts, fiction and conjecture, around an event that marked the 20th century: man' first landing on the moon. Advances in film and television technology have made it possible to manipulate images without it being obvious. Even the use of archive footage is no guarantee for authenticity since they can be used to substantiate very different "facts." How can the spectator KNOW what he watches? Beware!
