Only passion can explain the great adventure undertaken in the early years of the 20th century by a handful of women who lay the foundations of a new industry and a new art: the motion picture. The force of these women of different social and cultural backgrounds permitted them to destroy the taboo against this art form and help create the basis of a highly complex industry. This film recalls the historic conditions in which these passionate women were able to exteriorize what had until then been hidden within them.
