The cinema great seducers constitute a series of about 20 portraits of French movies actresses from the end of war up to now. To succeed for an actress is to fulfil ones ambition and at the same time incarnate the great collective dream of a society constantly on the move. Leaders of the Nouvelle Vague or makers of the more recent French movie evolutions, their fictional characters built up from their own story. They feel as much at ease in a social drama as in a light comedy, an historical evocation or a thriller. In this part of the French cinema history evoked in 26 or 52 minutes portraits based on interviews gathered between 2000 and 2002, you can find the whole range of the actress real-life. Love, hate, reality, fiction, the actress struggles building her personal character. Her career is a school of life, an exceptional experiment to be transmitted.
