Amina, a young widow with two children, is harassed from all sides. Her brother-in-law, Adama, fully intends to make her his second wife, in keeping with the law of the levirate. Meanwhile, a real estate developer has his eye on the land Amina's house stands on. Adama and the realtor realize they have a common interest. They decide to have Amina accused of being a witch. Hounded by the mob, the young woman must run for her life. Her brother-in-law steps in to persuade her to let him protect her : she only has to agree to marry him. This time, Adama is sure of getting the young woman into his bed, and at the same time, getting his hands on his late brother's property in order to sell it to the promoter. Their plot almost succeeds, but they haven't counted on the Amina meeting the taximan Koffi in her flight…
