La Poste fait le mur
In Grenoble, the Post Office commissioned three graffiti artists to do a fresco for a wall 160 ft. high next to the mid-town main post office. In addition to this work, which lasted three weeks, graffiti workshops were conducted in two cultural centers of the city with youngsters aged 12 to 16. These two events provide the occasion to look at the difference between tagging and graffiti, which has become an art. The walls allow the youths to appropriate urban space. With this fresco, neighborhood culture invaded the center of the city.
