La Farina del Diavolo
Journalist Paolo Calcagno talks to poet, novelist and scriptwriter Tonino Guerra. This long interview retraces the long career of one of the Italy's finest and most prolific scriptwriters. Guerra reveals the secrets of his collaboration with some the great masters, and remembers his steadfast friendship with Fellini, his sometime harsh but always fraternal clashes with Antonioni and his free interpretations of texts by the legendary Eduardo De Filippo, made with the complicity of Vittorio De Sica. The movie examines his connection with poetry and emphasizes his love for Russia, the land to which he returns every year and where he learned to paint.
