La Boîte noire
In the fall of 2002, the little black box in the middle of our living rooms turned 50 years old. Often it was accused of conveying shallowness, but it actually was the black box of our History, the keeper of those moments where reality met the eye of the camera. This 13-part series is made up of small documentary inquiries on archival images that have become icons of our historical memory. It relates these rare and often brief moments in which History was caught by the camera's eye. What lies behind these images? How were they made? Who was present? Among the episodes presented:"The Assassination of Kennedy," the "Bloody Sunday massacres," "The Fall of the Berlin Wall," "The Fists of Khrushchev at the UN," the "Romanian Revolution," and more.
