Since 1980, we have been witnessing the discreet awakening of Christianity in Kabylia. The existence of this Christian community is not a mere rumor, but a reality that must be recognized. After having lived clandestinely in the shadows, these Algerians who practice their religion fully want to speak out. We followed them during their prayers, their praises and their baptisms. They talk about their faith in complete serenity. They are Algerians and defend the right to be different in an Algeria they want to see more pluralistic, when it is being torn apart by Islamic fundamentalism. Without opposing Islam or the Muslims, they deliver a message of peace, love and tolerance.
