The story of Beat Richner, pediatrician and esteemed doctor in Switzerland, who, in 1991, decided to leave everything to work in a hospital in Cambodia. But Richner wasn't only a doctor, he was also a gifted cellist. He treated his patients with drugs and with music. This original portrait is also an investigation of modern medical practiced in Combodia today, a critique of the workings of certain international institutions such as the World health organisation-WHO, and a look at an original way of treating people.
