Georges Cziffra - Virtuose magicien
In the company of Isabelle Cziffra, granddaughter of the famous pianist Georges Cziffra, we discover her grandfather's uncommon destiny. From the taverns of Budapest, to the Salle Pleyel in Paris, and the major concert halls of New York, London and Tokyo, Georges Cziffra electrified audiences. This prestigious artist remained faithful to Liszt and Chopin throughout his career. He was nicknamed "the new Offenbach," "the 50-finger virtuoso" and the "sorcerer of the piano." He disturbed as much as he aroused admiration for his amazing talent and his genuine modesty. But Cziffra only venerated music, which was first and foremost a language invented to say "I love you."
