Flux

A whimsical animation short about life, confusion and the inexorable march of time as it reflects on two generations of the same family. In a house on a hill under a looming storm cloud, family life unfolds at breakneck pace. The crises, joys and random accidents of the day-to-day happen in a shattering blur. But amid the constant change, certain instants unspool slowly. Time flies yet our memories are elastic, stretching moments, compressing years. Seeds explode into plants in a split-second burst. One minute a daughter’s blowing out six candles on a birthday cake, and in the blink of an eye she’s moving out. A film without words.
