Entre deux fronts
A security zone between two countries at war, southern Lebanon was occupied for 25 years by Israeli forces. Caught in this situation, the population had to choose between collaboration and resistance. Entirely shot after the Israeli withdrawal, the film deals with the experiences of four antagonistic persons who endured the Israeli occupation and continue to suffer the consequences; it also shows the continuing tensions between those who collaborate and those who resist. Beyond this social breach, we learn that, despite the end of the Israeli occupation, southern Lebanon has found neither peace nor liberty. This enclave remains an open front, manipulated by the region's different players.
